One of the most innovative LEGO sets for young kids, My Bot's invention system uses smart parts to give children the tools they need to create their own interactive toys. The main component contains a tiny computer to which builders add smart bricks (up to two at a time) making a car, plane or robot with special features including fueling and alarm system and a sensor that records "hits" from a light source like a flashlight. The 32 pieces are large and easy to manipulate. 

The toys, once built, are marvelous, responding to movement and tilting with appropriate sounds, flashing lights, and more. A liquid crystal display shows the unit's position, and children can adjust volume and other features with a red/grey plastic screwdriver. This set is a part of the  Action Wheelers line from Lego. Pieces are secured with the included screwdriver for more active play.
